Harvard 3, Minnesota 2 (All-American Tournament)
First-year Kiirsten Suurkask scored with 5:14 left in the game to
complete a three-goal comeback for Harvard as the Crimson opened its
season with a 3-2 victory at Minnesota. Minnesota jumped out to 2-0 lead
in the opening period. Angie Francisco got Harvard on the board at the
18:21 of the first and Kyle Walsh tied the game at the 9:30 mark of the
third. Crystal Springer turned aside 30 shots in goal to secure the win
for the Crimson.
