We were at the Bradley Center today to watch some of the team practices.
North Dakota had to move their practice from first to last due to an
airline delay.
 
In the 2 lobbies of the Bradley Center the NCAA has on display (hanging
in the rafters) a team jersey from each of the 44 division 1 teams. Also,
in the arena itself, there are 17 pennants, one for each team that has
won a championship in the last 50 years, listing the year(s) of the
championships. All this seems to be in honor of the 50th anniversary of
the NCAA.
 
The local television stations in Milwaukee have been covering the ice
hockey tournament on a daily basis. They are expecting an $11 million
dollar economic benefit from having it here.
 
Enjoyed talking to some hockey-l'ers, and other Michigan State and Lake
Superior State fans during the day.
