I know what you are saying, and I admit to not following the process as
carefully -- but I said in an earlier post that even if this isn't
exactly what has been said, it seems to be the essence of what the
committee did. It can't be purely coincidental that the teams are
ranked properly according to seed, with region being only a secondary
consideration. This is how basketball does it, so it doesn't shock me.
I think Comly's comment on Clarkson-Lowell that confuses you could
possibly be a mistake. I don't know.

Why MUST a certain amount of teams crossover? I am asking because I
don't know what you mean. Are you saying the thinking that I proposed
is not possible, or didn't happen? Because if you are saying that it's
not possible, then that's clearly not true, because it is definitely
possible the way I laid it out, and, in fact, exactly how it's done in
hoops.

To me, it still comes down to, Clarkson got the #5 seed they deserve,
regardless of region, and Lowell got the #4 they deserve. Doesn't
Lowell figure ahead of Clarkson, despite what Comly said?

Maybe I'm looking at it too simplisticly in an attempt just to get this
over with, but it just seems to make sense to me.
