The not so official poop on BC's goalie, Scott LaGrand is that he has
been suspended from play until Nov. 6 for self-reported NCAA rules
violations.  He never came out and directly said what he did.  However,
informed scuttle-butt has that last Spring, he (and some other BC
hockey players who have since left (H,E,M,C...)) was betting on Boston
Celtics basketball games.  I guess LaGrand decided to come forward on
his own to avoid a longer punishment that might come at a more critical
time in the season.
