The BU Band has a very high standard of etiquette at Hockey games.  We do
not say anyone sucks or seek to ridicule the opposition.  The exception
is the SIEVE chant.  The band leads it after every goal, even against
Lake St last year (watch out on Sat:-)
 
If the goalie is a sieve, and the cheer gets to him, it's a part of the
game.  If he's a good goalie, it shouldn't bother him. Some goalies, such
as DU's Wally, feed off of hostile crowds.  It's just another element of
poise that separates the best goalies from the pretenders.
 
 
Looking forward to seeing Herlofsky, Noble and a bunch of sieves over the
next two weekends :-)
