No explanation for the uniform switch was officially given.  Sunday was
Senior Night (being the final home game for the Friars) and it has been
tradition for some time now to wear the away jerseys once during the season.
 This gives the fans a chance to see the Friars in their home garb.  I assume
that's all it was.
 
On the subject of Senior Night, I'd like to point out that it was very
commendable for the BC players to remain on the ice during the introduction
of the Friars' Seniors.  The Eagles were lined up on the blue line and most
players could be seen rapping their sticks on the ice as each senior was
introduced.  A fine display of sportsmanship.  I've been following Friar
hockey since '76 and I believe that was the first time an opposing team
remained on the ice during the ceremony.
