Credit Where Credit Is Due Section: The NCHA Newsletter is compiled in
the office of the NCHA Director of Information (Terry Owens at UW-Stevens
Point) -- I only pass it along to you. All typos are mine. (And there
may be more than usual today 'cuz I just had two teeth pulled and the
anesthetic is wearing off ... ouch)

FOUR SWEEPS COMPLETE PRE-HOLIDAY SCHEDULE

LAST WEEK: Bemidji State, UW-Stevens Point, UW-Superior and UW-Eau
Claire recorded sweeps in the final pre-Christmas NCHA weekend. Bemidji
took two from Lake Forest at home while Stevens Point, Superior and Eau
Claire recorded their wins on the road, over St. Scholatica, St. Norbert
and UW-River Falls, respectively.

The results leave Bemidji State still undefeated in league play and on
top of the standings while UW-Stevens Point and UW-Superior are close
behind and UW-Eau Claire and UW-River Falls stand tied for fourth.

THIS WEEK: The NCHA eases into the Holidays with several non-conference
matchups. UW-Stevens Point is at St. Mary's on Tuesday before hosting
Mercyhurst for a pair on the weekend; Mankato State visits UW-River
Falls; and Bemidji State hosts Minnesota-Crookston in the only action of
the week.
