john was an average player. I think he transferred from BU where he wasn't
getting much ice time and I seem to recall seeing an interview after they had
won the NC$$ tourney that portrayed him as 'not going to ever amount to much at
BU and now here he is with a championship team." Good for him.
 
Not that I've offered much insight here , but I have a #8 jersey from the 85
season - john's #. Thus I always remember him fondly.
