A couple of people have recently mentioned that Penticton became famous
because Paul Kariya played there before going to Maine.  I don't think
that Paul was the first famous college hockey player to play in
Penticton as Brett Hull played there for at least two years before
attending UMD.  No doubt there were also earlier college players who
played there.
