WCHA picks commissioner:
Bruce McLeod, athletic director at the University of Minnesots-Duluth
since 1983, will succeed retiring Western Collegiate Hockey Assocation
commissioner Otto Breitenbach on July 1.  McLeod, 47 and a former UMD
player, has served on the league's executive committee, tournament
committee, television committee and structure committee.  After
graduating from UMD in 1969, McLeod served as the school's sports
information director, business manager and assistant athletic director
before succeeding the late Ralph Romano as athletic diewctor in 1983.
