Union's colors are Maroon (well, Garnet really) and White. The team looks
especially good in their Garnet road uniforms. Far from red though... There's
a story behind the garnet. Both Union and Harvard wanted the same maroon
color. There was some kind of competeition as to who would get to keep it.
I'll have to look up the details, but to settle the dispute, Harvard decided
to call its maroon "Crimson" and Union called its maroon "Garnet." If anyone's
interested in the whol story, I'm sure I can find out more...
