Red's coaching record w/ the Blues:

The 1980-81 season mark was a Blues' record at the time; I don't
 know if that still holds.
 
After getting the boot from St. Louis, he was an assistant at Buffalo under
 Scotty Bowman until taking the UM job.
 
 
And yes, Jeff Jackson was an assistant coach in Hartford for about a week
last summer, until LSSU dangled the AD carrot in front of him. That was the
second job Jackson had accepted and then left in a hurry. He was an assistant
coach at Michigan State for about an eyeblink, and then Frank Anzalone was
 axed at LSSU. The rest, as they say...
