You said it brother! But, there are those of us here in Madison that knew that
Wisconsin would somehow be seeded so that they would be playing at the Knick.
Why? It's a money thing. Wisconsin generally has the biggest fan support for
these trips, and that translates into $$$$. That's probably the same reason
that MSU is playing at Munn. A little home ice never hurt the fan support.

CC got the big shaft. My chin dropped to the floor when the seeds were
announced. I was hoping that ST. Cloud would sneak in, but the CC shafting
was a HUGE surprise. Lucia and the boys deserve better than this. And HALF of
HE gets in? The only thing that would've been more rediculous would have been
to have Maine in the tourny! But, that would make 5 HE teams.

Speaking of getting shafted...Blane(?) Lacher and Jim Carey got a couple of big
ones IMO. Honerable Mentions? Come on!

Red Berenson got off pretty easy I think. The plea bargain was a nice gesture
by the local authorities, don't you think? It's a good thing that it didn't
happen in Wisconsin. Red would have lost his drivers license on the spot. As
for the public urination offense, I was a little surprised to learn that,
according to some one oh hockey-l (I forget who), the maximum jail time for
public urination was the same for drunk driving (90 days)! Only the fine is
different. I guess I'll always search for the proper facilities when in
Michigan.

Finally, I'd like to congratulate Otto Breightenbach(sp) on a great reign as
WCHA commish. Enjoy your retirement!
