We've received a strong initial reply from our membership concerning items to be donated for the 2019 MEEOA Auction coming right up at our annual conference but we still need more support! The auctions (both the "Live" and, this year, a "Chance" auction) are a major social event and fundraising activity at our annual conferences. The vast majority of donations come directly from our membership, this event is not possible without your generous support. "Themed" baskets are a strong tradition at these auctions, with the different office's within our membership coming up with a themed basket that is unique to them and their part of the state (often booze and chocolate make an appearance in these baskets which are historically big hits with MEEOA members). Lastly, the MEEOA Auction is often the last stop for some of those "gems" we receive as gifts ourselves during the holiday season; we all say our "thank yous" but when we unwrap these gems we know immediately that they are headed to MEEOA for someone else to "appreciate". All and any donations are greatly appreciated so start thinking today what you'll be contributing to this year's MEEAO auction.
