With two Ferris St. losses this weekend and MSU's tie on Saturday versus Lake
Superior St., the Spartans have clinched home ice for the first round of the
CCHA playoffs (gee, talk about backing in!).  I'm sure Ferris will let us know
how they feel about giving us home ice when we play them on the 25th.
 
By the way, my ranking for MSU this week will have two digits (I'm not sure if
the first one will be a 1 or a 2).

P. S.  Not having seen Mike Dunham play before yesterday (sorry, I missed last
        year's final versus LSSU), would somebody at Maine or anywhere else for
        that matter please convince me that he is a better goaltender than he
        showed yesterday against France?  14 shots and 4 goals?  Was he falling
        asleep out there, or what?  And somebody please tell his mother not to
        get upset when a defenseman takes a penalty late in the game when her
        son's save percentage is hovering around 70%!  (By the way, CBS, screw
        the damn features, show us MORE ACTION!!!)
