I too, am convinced of this conclusion.  I've talked to a couple of
people more "in the know" than the pair I originally heard the rumor
from and they discarded it.  Alas, the Buckeyes live to fight another
day.

Hey, I resemble that remark.  Besides, Michigan doesn't want Ohio State
to fold ... we're gonna need those 3 wins on our record next year. :-)

P.S. Next time, I'll check a little further before I post any rumors
of this magnitude.  I picked this one up from the same source(s) that
told me of Mike Bales turning pro and Brian Loney flunking out and
leaving for juniors.  Both of those turned out to be true, so I figured
the grapevine between Columbus and Ann Arbor was fairly accurate  ----
and it was until this past weekend.  Sorry if I caused any undue stress
(or excitement).  :-)
