I disagree. I think that the effect of playing only 1 or 2 games on
olympic size ice is minimal. Most teams play on regular size ice all
season. 1 or 2 games isn'tgoing to have that much of an impact,
IMO.

I think that's the key. I think the ECAC doubts as to how much of
a local draw they'd get. As for Albany, I think there's doubt as to
how well they'd draw if RPI or Clarkson (lots of alumni down there)
didn't make it. As for Hartford, even more doubtful, I think. I don't
think Yale hockey is that big. Another thing about Hartford, I heard
they are still waiting for a professional hockey team. :) :)
