I don't know if this means anything, but it seems to me that any 'minority'
group (this includes student-atheletes) have extra help availible to them
viz tutors and discussion groups. I know for a fact that here at Berkeley
there are special department-organized tutors/groups set up for
1) Student-Atheletes
2) Minority students (which could be anyone not WASP at Berkeley...)
3) Handicapped students
4) Remedial students
There has been some noise here (there always has to be something to
protest at UCB) about this special treatment as reverse discrimination
(for 2-4) or special privelages (1).
