We got to see the real Gophers in action Saturday night in Mariucci Arena
as they defeated the North Dakota Fighting Soup, 8-4.  The game ran 3
hours 15 minutes, and 119 minutes in penalties were handed out.  North
Dakota scored the first two goals, but the Gophers took over soon after and
dominated the remainder of the game.  Freshmen Bobby Dustin and Dave Larson
scored their first goals for the Maroon and Gold.
