This raises an interesting point. Since I seldom go to anything beyond NCAA
Regionals, I've not personally met anyone on this list. For years, I've
conjured up images of all who post here and I've always pictured Robin Lock
as a male academic smoking a pipe and wearing a sports jacket with patches
on the elbows.
Now Nathan refers to Robin Lock as "she", which was a possibility I had
never considered. However, after poking around on the SLU website, I've
found that my imagined Robin Lock was much closer to reality than Nathan's.
Unless Nathan's Robin doubles as "the bearded lady", Robin is most
definitely a male of the species (or at least as close to male as a
statistician can get).
So I think I may just accept Robin's entry, but disqualify Nathan's.
