UNH-ME is such a rivalry that many Mainers don't admit to one!  Ask a 
UMaine fan about the most heated rivalry and UNH will often be be 3rd.  
On the other hand, UNH@ME games are always most hyped and with best 
attendance.

Teams living in the same neighborhood make natural rivals.  Yet such 
closeness often yield ties that transcend the rivalry.
