Sacasm noted Craig.
The NC$$ is not neccessarily preoccupied with the OTHER tournament,
there are two separate committees to deal with each. But the B-Ball tourney is
on a much larger scale than hockey. There are 64 teams playing at 13 venues
across the country. CBS paid $1 Billion+ (that's $1,000,000,000 for those keepi
ng score at home) for the right to broadcast all 63 games. The NC$$ could neve
r and should never run hockey on that large a scale. The hockey tournament cur
rently is played at three venues, involving 12 teams and taking nine days to com
plete(vs. 18 for B-Ball).
Well,I'd like to say that I'm looking forward to seeing some great hockey
tonight and tomorrow, but I'll have to wait for Saturday. GO BEARS!!
