Does anyone have an insight as to why the WCHA thought it would be a good
idea to bring the Final Five to Minneapolis again this year in direct
competition with the NCAA basketball tournament at the Metrodome?  Did
nobody else want to host it?  Or do they think maybe all those Iowa State
fans who will be in town will head over to Target Center for the Friday
semifinals?
 
On the plus side, ticket sales seem to be better than last year - this
morning I got two on the blue line in the upper deck, while last year at I
was in the lower level when I bought tickets on Tuesday.  Although I did get
lower level corner for Friday night this year.
 
Looking forward to some lively crowds, with Mankato making its first trip to
Final Five and Wisconsin wanting to kick the Gophers butt on Friday if
Minnesota beats Mankato.  Still would rather be heading to the Fleet Center,
but what can you do?
