The tougher and more depressing prognostication: predict the attendance for
the first (and let's all pray last) ECAC "play-in" game.
 
To put a stake in the ground, I am willing to guess an even 1,998.  If it's
much higher than that, I'll be pleasantly surprised.
 
I hope the entire populations of Ithaca, NY and Princeton, NJ,
respectively, are planning to attend -- I'm just not counting on it.
