In a message dated 98-03-10 16:05:13 EST, you write:

<< A two-game total-goals series results in even more absurd pressures on the
second night than a first-to-three-points series. If you lost the first
night by three goals, and you're winning on the second night by "only" two
goals, do you pull your goalie to try to score the extra goal or two?

That's exactly what happened 1984, when Clarkson played at Minn-Duluth in the
NCAA quarterfinals. UMD won the first game 6-2. Clarkson was leading 6-3
late in the second game, and needed one more goal to tie (total goals).
Wierdest thing in the world to see your goalie pulled with a three-goal lead.
