Randy is just stating his opinion.
In the 1990 NCAA quarterfinals the MSU Spartans, the number one
team in the polls and the top seed in the tournament with a
34-5-3 record, hosted the 23-15-2 BU Terriers at Munn Arena. The
Terriers won the best-of-three series, 2-1, and they did it the hard
way, winning games two and three after losing the first game. The
Terriers also beat the Spartens at Walter Brown Arena earlier in the
season, 6-4, to take the season series, 3-1. So, who was the
"better" team, the 35-7-3 Spartans, or the 25-17-2 Terriers?
