I contacted Troy Newchannels, the local cable company, to see if there was any
chance they would show the RPI game on Friday, or any other hockey games this
weekend.  They confirmed my statement that there were no games on the current
schedule, but would consider picking up a secondary feed.  I asked if calls
from potential viewers would help, and they said yes.  If anyone in the
Capital District would like to see RPI/Minnesota, and any other games this
weekend, please call Troy Newchannels at 237-3740.  The more callers, the better
the chance of getting the game(s).
 
Also, can anyone out there provide me with the names of the tv network(s) that
are broadcasting the West Regionals?  I need to supply that information to the
cable company.  Please E-mail privately.
