This game certainly showed that both of these teams are top contendors for
the CCHA title this year. Overall, the game was pretty even, with Michigan
State dominating the first period and the last half of the third, and Bowling
Green dominating the Second. MSU's Mike Buzak looked especially strong at
goal, while BG's Holzinger was very impressive. After seeing the Spartans play
both Lake State and Bowling Green, I would have to say that Bowling Green looks
to be the better of the two. Their offense is dangerous, and if the puck
had been bouncing their way they could have easily completely erased their mid
second period four goal deficit. MSU also looked impressive, especially on the
power play, and, surprisingly for a team based on it's forwards, the defense
was impressive when it counted.

Let's hope for a win at Yost on Friday,

P.S. Any news on Miami of Ohio and their team this year?
