Our system had a major hardware failure, so I don't know if this was
posted yet, but Wisconsin beat the Bulldogs of UMD 6-4 last night in the
U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame game at the DECC. All 4 goalies had some nice
saves, and Soper looked Super for the Badgers. UMD was 1 for 10 on the
PP, and the 1 was a 2 man advantage. UW was 3 for 5. It was 4-4 from
the 2nd period until about 5 minutes left when the Dogs fell apart.
One interesting thing, in the second period, neither of the head coaches
were behind the bench. Also, UW used 28 players, UMD 24.
Real thing tonight at 7:00!
