Saturday night was a big night for blow-outs in the CCHA. The narrowest margin
of victory was 3 goals (I am having trouble remembering who the teams were, but
the score was 4-1), and Michigan blew out MSU 11-1 (who needs Sittler, Sacka,
and Willis anyway?) while LSSU blew out OSU 8-0.
Probably the only "bright" spot for OSU on the weekend was that goaltender Tom
Askey made 58 saves in the game against the Lakers. LSSU outshot the Buckeyes
66-11!! Ah well, I will be at the Ice Rink this weekend to watch the Bucks go
up against Michigan and Kent (first meeting of the year with Kent I believe,
OSU beat them twice last year)...maybe the Bucks will catch the Wolverines
napping. :-)
