Carol White posted a message yesterday stating that Minnesota defenseman
Brian LaFleur was WCHA player of the year. This reminded me that no one knew
the answer to a question that I asked when he was a Freshman (boy, does time
pass fast).
RPI had a forward in the class of 1973 named Brian LaFleur. He was Captain
his senior year. Are they related? RPI's LaFleur was Canadian, while I have
a hunch that Minnesota's isn't :-). Both wore sweater number 12, although I
think that the LaFleur currently playing for Minnesota has changed his number.
Anyway, I figured that I would ask again if anyone knows if they are related.
Someone in the Class of 1973 is about the right age to be the father of
someone in the Class of 1997.
