It has been reported by a Big Rapids radio station that Bob Mancini
(Ferris State Hockey coach) has accepted the coaching position at
Michigan Tech.  A 9:00am news conference this morning at Tech has
been called to report on the assignment.  Ferris officials, we assume,
will announce Bob Daniels (Assistant hockey coach) as the head coach.
 
After all the work the townspeople did to save the hockey program
at Ferris, I hope that the administration won't try to go back on the
agreement and not give us 3 years to make the program self-supporting.
Bob Mancini has charm but he was not the only person involved in the
fight.  Ferris hockey WILL NOT DIE.  With or without Bob Mancini the
program will continue.
