What depressing news for a Tuesday morning! As a hockey fan that
rarely has the opportunity to see any games, I'm disappointed ... I'm
angry!
Through the great news and other hockey information brought to my
mailbox by Hockey-L, I've been well-informed and opted for "road trips"
to St. Paul and Albany the last two years ... I've also been lucky
enough to visit the last few Olympic Festivals, Goodwill Games, and
The Beanpot. I never care who is playing ... I'm there for the
competition.
In the past, I've always started my travel planning in January of
each year. It sounds like I should have started planning 10 months
in advance --- logistically (air fare, lodging, etc.) that's almost
impossible and really probably impractical!!!
Let me echo Carol's comments ... just sign me a truly disappointed
hockey fan ... who lives South of the Mason-Dixon.
