Well, during that time, Harvard and Brown were also dominating the top of 
the ECAC
standings - not to mention, Harvard was an annual nationally-ranked team to 
go along
with their national championship in 1989.

The same can be said now - over the past few years, I have "hated" Cornell 
('hate' is
such a strong word, isn't it?), but only because they've been winning, 
winning, and
winning some more. Just like those who "hate" the Patriots or Yankees, many 
of us
want to see someone else win for a change.   :)

That doesn't change my choice of rival - the one team I want Union to beat 
is RPI, even
if it's the only win of the season.
