HALLDORSON SUSPENDS TWO PLAYERS FOR SERIES WITH MAVERICKS

Minnesota women's hockey coach Laura Halldorson announced she is suspending
seniors Nadine Muzerall (Mississauga, Ontario/Kimball Union Academy) and
Betsey Kukowski (Apple Valley, Minn./Shattuck-St. Mary's) for this weekend's
series at Minnesota State, Mankato due to violation of team rules.

Muzerall is the team's all-time leading scorer and led the nation with 49
goals last season. She missed last weekend's series with Ohio State due to a
concussion suffered Oct. 15.

Kukowski, who spent most of the second half of last season on a line with
Muzerall, had not missed a game since the end of the 1998-99 season
