MAINE 3 NORTHEASTERN 3, NU wins SO 3-2

Sometimes it just doesn't go your way... that was the way it was for the
Maine Black Bears tonight. Maine dominated the game, outshooting NU
something like 38-22 or something like that, but NU who never led in the
game got a late third period goal to tie it up.
Maine easily could have won this game 7 or 8 to 3, but chance after chance
just seemed to slip away, or just roll off a stick and so on and so forth.
Maine goals were scored by Shermerhorn, Tempestilli, and Frenette. Maine
now 21-1-6, 9-0-6 in Hockey East will travel to Amherst to take on the
Minutemen Friday and Saturday night.
Northeastern is now 9-10-4, and 5-6-4 in Hockey East.
