1. Is there any college hockey stat book available that has complete player
stats for more than just the past year, and also indicates where they
played prior to college?
2. How many scholarships are allowed by the NC$$? Do most schools go up to
that max? With players such as the four BU seniors who were walk-ons that
were not heavily recruited, did they start out without sholarships and play
themselves into one, or (if total roster size > total scholarships) did they
just retain whatever academic scholarships they originally had (if any) and
all "released" hockey scholarships at the end of each year went to incoming
freshmen recruits? I'm not asking *just* about the BU kids, but about the
situation in general.
3. If a player redshirts one season, can he be on scholarship that year plus
four more, or do most schools max out at four scholarship years?
Thanks in advance.
