The first period of this game was "clutch and grab" sort of hockey.  It
was freshman goaltender Dieter Kochan's first start as a WildCat.  He
played very strong and has a really fast glove.  Coach Comley mixed the
lines up so much it was difficult to know who was on the ice without
seeing a number.

Nice way to start the new season.  Next week we have WCHA action with
U.P. rivals Michigan Tech.  I'm looking forward to seeing Jamie
Ram....NOT!
