It was in a more general sense, and in comparison to today.  It was not
intended to be exhaustive.  My experience only goes back 25 years.  This
past year Minnesota participated in effectively three tournaments, if you
include the College Hockey Showcase.  I could be wrong, but I do not
recall Minnesota being in any tournament when I was a season ticket
holder from 1980-85, (but of course my memory could be wrong on that.)
