I called the SC office today about the open skate on Friday, April 8.  I confirmed the times of 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  It is free, let me repeat that free, and open to the public.  Skates are provided.  To the best of the office person's knowledge that meant the skates were free, too.
