I see your point.  Ever since Jack Parker was on that grassy knoll in
Dallas TX in Nov 1963, this country has gone to hades.  Parker was
singularly responsible for our involvement in Vietnam.  Meanwhile, Jerry
York's participation in the Chicago riots in 1968 was the harbinger of
the decline of western civilization.  If only Bill Cleary hadn't been
caught bugging the Democratic national committee at the Watergate, Nixon
would still be president, even though he's been dead for over ten years.
And I will never forgive Dick Umile for breaking into Daniel Ellsberg's
psychiatrist's office.  What was he thinking?

Damn those easterners.
