Now I'm even more confused.  Deron's saying that Maine did it in 1993 because
they still had the trophy from the year before.  If that's the case, why didn't
BU do it last year when they repeated as regular season champs?  And as Adam
Bryant noted, what happened two years ago when BU and UNH met at season's end?
 
It seems to me that the celebration of a regular season title would be a league
sanctioned event (i.e., required).  HEA is obviously sanctioning such a
celebration in Durham this weekend.  And Deron says that Maine has had the
pleasure of celebrating in the past.  How is it that any team can decide to pass
on such a festivity?  And how can a league allow it to happen?
