There's not much to say about this one. RPI needed to beat Dartmouth
to keep their hold on 3rd place in the ECAC. Aside from numerous
defensive lapses at the start of the second period (none of which
Dartmouth was able to take advantage of), RPI pretty much dominated the
entire game. The score makes Dartmouth netminder Eric Almon seem
like somewhat of a sieve, but frankly, most of the time he was
hung out to dry by his defense (or lack thereof).

Meanwhile, the Engineer scoring machine continued on with
Brad Tapper getting the hat trick, Danny Riva getting 4 assists,
Keith Dupee getting 2 goals, Mark Murphy getting 2 assists,
defenseman Jared Reigstad getting 2 assists and freshman sensation
Matt Murley getting a goal and 3 assists.

The Engineers solidify their hold on 3rd place with their win and
Princeton's loss to Clarkson. The Engineers finish up their
regular season home schedule next weekend against Cornell and
Colgate and travel to princeton an Yale the following weekend to
finish the reguklar season schedule.
