Wisconsin has exactly one chance to get home ice: all of the following must
happen
        - UW sweeps Minnesota in Madison
        - Northern Michigan sweeps Duluth in Duluth
        - Michigan Tech sweeps North Dakota in North Dakota

if all that happens, Tech and UND will have 15-16-1 records (31 pts) and UW
will have a 14-15-3 record (also 31 pts). The head-2-head tiebreaker favors
UW since UND split 4-game series with both UW and UND, and UW was 3-1-0 vs
UND.

Or am I mistaken on the first tiebreaker when >2 teams are involved?

From todays Blue Line Club luncheon with Wisconsin coach Sauer
and Minnesota coach Woog:

1) Brush Christiansen from Alaska-Anchorage retired from
coaching last night. I don't have any more info but it
   sounded like it wasn't voluntary.

2) The WCHA stands to lose $100,000 if Wisconsin doesn't
get home ice for the WCHA playoffs.

From a Wisconsin State Journal article earlier this week:

1) Northern Michigan coach Rick Comley is stepping down
from the NCAA hockey selection committee. The article
said that University of Wisconsin AD Pat Richter will
   take his place.
