Just to update you all on Jason's condition.
 
He came through the surgery very well, although he says that he feels like he
was hit by a truck. His brother Brent stopped by the hockey office and talked
with the coaches and Patti.
 
He is off the respirator and may go to the Cardiac floor right from the
recovery room instead of to intensive care.
 
Sounds like the surgery was a success and it took an hour less than they
thought it would.
 
I will be sending off the first bunch of get well messages this weekend.
Thank you all for the great support of our ailing-but-now-almost-well Gopher!!!
