I agree, and it may.  Attendence this last year was horrible -- even worse
than the numbers (there were a lot of empty seats somehow counted in the
"attendence").
 
Even though it is obviously possible to win from the Thurs. game, it's still
a hideous system.  Hopefully, it will cost enough in revenue that they'll
scrap it (for the best of reasons, of course... ;-)
