This week
Colorado College at Alaska-Anchorage
North Dakota at Denver
Wisconsin at Minnesota
Minnesota-Duluth at Northern Michigan
Michigan Tech at St Cloud
North dakata has clinched first place and will most likely
host michigan tech
Minnesota seems to be almost a lock on second. St. cloud can catch
them but nobody else can
The all important Third place is not yet sewn up
the tie breakers are...
cc stc den wis m-d
cc < < < ?
stc ^ ? ^ ?
den ^ ? < <
wis ^ < ^ <
m-d ? ? ^ ^
if st. cloud sweeps tech, they will be 3rd
if st. cloud gets 3 points, they will be third unless cc sweeps anchorage
if st. cloud gets 2 points, they open the door to both cc and denver,
but are still guaranteed home ice
denver would have to sweep and win the tie breaker against st cloud
to take 3rd place
cc would need at least 3 points against anchorage to take
third place
Colorado college, with at least a win, should stay at home. 3 points
guarantees a home spot
