I completely disagree that the the officials should have
ignored the the fact that the cage was off its pegs.
Consider this scenario: Lambert stones the break-away.
His kick save shoots the puck out to the blue line where
a CC player picks it up and has his own break-away (since
even UVM's defense men were begining to pinch in) but now
the whistle is blown because the CAGE IS OFF THE PEGS.
Sorry but the rules say you stop play to fix it.
From a unbiased stand point I thought the officiating
was average. I was more annoyed at the ice problem.
But then again I didn't know the explanation until I
read my email this morning.
