two observations
1) it is over 600 miles from minneapolis to lansing, and at least a
10 hour drive, so if a western team goes east, the gophers might
be a good choice based on distance. (well, if you take the
ludington to manitowac ferry it is less of a drive)
2) even though two teams may be at the same site, there are really
two separate brackets at that site (1st seed, 4th seed, 5th seed)
and (2nd seed, 3rd seed, 6th seed) so TWO teams advance from a
regional. Thus, being in the same place may not mean competing
against one another.
