-- [ From: Bill Harrison * EMC.Ver #2.10P ] --
A lot of talk concerning Clarkson getting a bye if they win the ECAC
tournament this weekend. I believe this to be unfair if BU or Maine
does not receive a bye because of Clarkson. I think if Clarkson wins
the ECAC tournament (a large "IF" considering the way the ECAC has gone
this year) and gets a bye, send them out west as the number 2 seed.
The RPI rankings between Clarkson, Colorado, and Minnesota are much
closer than Clarkson and BU or Maine. Thus seeing Colorado and
Minnesota without a bye is a little more tolerable than BU or Maine
without a bye. Of course if Colorado and Clarkson both win their
tournaments, BU Maine, or Michigan will be left without a bye. This is
WRONG! The NCAA should strongly rethink their latest brainstorm.
LET'S GO TECH!
